Purpose of Role
The Visual Merchandising Executive is responsible for executing and elevating Under Armour’s visual merchandising strategy across all retail and wholesale doors in Thailand. This role brings the brand to life in-store through disciplined execution of global standards, localized adaptation of VM concepts, and impactful product storytelling that strengthens brand equity and drives commercial performance.
Working cross-functionally with Retail, Wholesale, Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Development, this role ensures consistent, premium, and consumer-focused brand presentation across the Thailand market.
Your Impact
- Translate global visual merchandising direction into locally relevant executions that uphold brand standards while driving commercial performance across Thailand.
- Execute seasonal floor sets, product launches, and campaign rollouts with excellence, ensuring strong brand storytelling and consumer clarity across all retail and wholesale doors.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail, Marketing, Merchandising, and Store Development to ensure cohesive and elevated in-store brand experiences.
- Support new store openings and remodels by partnering on layout optimization, category zoning, fixture application, and visual flow to enhance consumer journey and productivity.
- Develop and implement compelling product presentation strategies that maximize visibility, simplify decision-making, and drive sell-through.
- Conduct regular store audits and market visits to ensure VM compliance, maintain brand integrity, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coach and guide store teams on visual standards, execution excellence, and best practices to ensure consistent brand representation across Thailand.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of visual implementation through reporting and photo analysis, driving continuous improvement in execution.
- Stay informed on local market trends and competitive retail environments to proactively evolve VM approaches that strengthen brand equity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Spatial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of visual merchandising experience within sportswear, apparel, or branded retail environments.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility with a keen eye for spatial design, product storytelling, and detail.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with SketchUp or other 3D visualization tools is preferred.
- Solid understanding of visual merchandising principles, planogram execution, and in-store presentation standards.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
