Purpose of Role

The Lead, DTC Planning for MX DTC will be given a rare opportunity to lead and be a part of a rapidly growing brand. This Lead will play a key role in leading the pre-season financial and inventory planning processes as well as in-season inventory optimization in DTC for MX with the opportunity to make an instant impact to the business. 
In addition, this individual will be responsible for management of open-to-buy which drive sales, margin, turn, and profitability for MX DTC.

Your Impact

Seasonal GTM Planning:  Responsible for the process of creating seasonal plans and the assessment of the plans created by the planning team. Partner with Merchandise Manager and DTC Director for consensus and alignment for the Channel.

Financial Planning:  Manage demand plan to financial targets. Drive the review and reconciliation of seasonal retailer and channel OTB/receipt plans. Analyze financial impact to account related to sales/margin/turn. Identify markdown/promotion opportunities and develop contingency plans for inventory management across total business

DTC Analysis:  Understand channel level trend analysis by category and style with Sr. Sales Planning Manager and DTC Director and respond to market trends by informing plans and strategies for future seasons, such as risks/opps.

Inventory/AR Analysis: Manage forecast process for key never out of stock (AR models) and partner with Supply/Inventory teams on key stock levels and article life cycle management.

Process & Operations: Responsible for evaluating and driving process improvement across a specific account base or distribution channel.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience. 
  • Proficiency in analyzing/interpreting large amounts of data and synthesize into effective and actionable insights.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver results within timelines.
  • Strong business acumen specific to Revenue, Margin, Service & Inventory.
  • Demonstrated effective project management skills and experience.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be a part of a team, set challenging standards, develop strong partnerships, and lead others to action.

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Mexico city office.
  • Return to Work Designation: 4 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
