Purpose of Role

The Lead, Fulfillment & Inventory Planning is responsible for strategic alignment and in-system execution of Regional inventory strategies to achieve optimal business performance. This role focuses on optimizing inventory levels to balance on-time service and just-in-time inventory by leveraging advanced data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs). It ensures seamless integration of demand signals with financial projections, effectively reducing unresolved demand and excess inventory. Additionally, this leader is tasked with proactively identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring agile and resilient operations. Through strategic vision and cross-functional collaboration, it plays a pivotal role in steering the organization towards sustainable growth and operational excellence

Your Impact

Provide strategic Demand/Supply leadership in the execution of monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) sequences, utilizing advanced analytics to analyze sales & inventory plans, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively escalate critical issues to ensure alignment with business objectives. 
• Act as a strategic liaison between the region and Global Supply/Sourcing teams, aligning buying strategies with organizational goals and effectively communicating demand gaps to drive cohesive and informed decision-making.
• Manage and execute the various Inventory settings in Blue Yonder to optimize inventory levels and service rates. Includes Safety Stock and Forecast Consumption/Adjustment windows.
• Ensure efficiency and maximize profitability of each DH through stock balancing, supply redirection, and identifying/executing required stock transfers.
• Provide critical Supply Chain reporting to regional teammates to ensure complete awareness of all executed and future planned factory buys. Leverage insights to help prioritize critical areas of the business and drive optimal buying strategies.
• Lead the Unresolved Demand process, proactively resolving inventory shortages through enhanced visibility and cross-functional collaboration across the Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in demand planning, marketing, or a related role.
• Experience in the apparel or footwear industry is preferred.
• Collaborative and able to provide direction to Global or regional partners, aligning it with organizational objectives and market trends.
• Proficiency in development of inventory management strategies.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, expertly communicating complex data insights and algorithm-driven findings to non-technical stakeholders, aligning cross-functional priorities and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and influencing decision-making at all levels.
• Proactive mindset, with an ability to cross functionally troubleshoot issues and problem solve early.
• High proficiency in data analysis and advanced visualization tools, using data to guide strategic initiatives and solve complex business challenges.
• Extensive experience with planning tools such as Blue Yonder

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Mexico office.
  • Return to Work Designation: 3/4 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
