Purpose of Role
The primary role of the Regional Visual Merchandising Sr. Professional Lead is to execute the full seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) plan as it relates to product presentation and story-telling at Retail and Wholesale locations Regionally. The Visual Merchant will partner closely with respective Regional and Channel Merchants, Brand leads, Marketing Team to develop and execute the GTM plan during each seasonal milestone. They will be responsible for contributing to the development Visual Merchandising Toolkit and seasonal Guidelines for Region / Distribuutor.
Your Impact
- Support GTM process through execution of key milestone deliverables. Partner with VM Sr. Manager to develop seasonal retail strategy, zone flow, zone architecture and key story placement for all retail floor sets across DTC and Wholesale
- Influence product assortment strategy by driving sku reduction and focused assortments through reinforcement of sku capacities by zone and fixture.
- Partner closely with respective Regional and Channe Merchants to understand business trends. Partner with VM Sr. Manager and Sales Team to develop retail strategies that support business metrics.
- Drive strategic alignment between LATAM region to execute Brand campaigns, GHLs and key story placement.
- Support the implementation and execution of 360 story-telling for Brand and product initiatives for respective categories. Partner with Merchandising, Marketing & partners teams to amplify our stories through locally relevant campaigns.
- Partner with Merchants, VM and Marketing leads to develop seasonal Retail Strategy Calendar that outlines cadence for key retail positions: Window, Entry Moment, lead Footwear Wall story.
- Build compelling in-store product presentations and/or key destinations for our latest technologies and core franchise products.
- Partner closely with Marketing team to influence execution of in-store marketing and signage needs for each floor set.
- Partner and learn from Global Store Design to influence new fixture, shop design elements, mannequins, etc. that may enhance consumer journey.
- Service our Region by creating and delivering seasonal Guidelines for each retail floor set. Provide guidance around adaptation based on Regional needs.
- Provide input to quarterly/yearly Global VM training sessions.
- Put consumer first by understanding athlete insights, needs and Global market trends to provide best store experience.
- Partner with LATAM Leadership Team to lead special projects across the region for both channels
Qualifications
· Strong strategic approach, business acumen, and negotiation skills
· Demonstrates high level of communication and collaboration skills
· Commercial approach and consumer-focused mindset, understanding of global retail trends
· Strong project and time management skills
· Detail oriented, excellence in execution
· PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
· 5+ years in variety of Retail Merchandising experience
· Global or International experience preferred
· Strong skills and experience in Visual Merchandising, in-store presentation, and window display within
the sport apparel, fashion or home accessories business.
· Strong knowledge of Graphic Design and Visual hierarchy
· Proficient with MAC, Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and PowerPoint
· An undergraduate degree is required. BA/BS, Visual Merchandising/Marketing is preferred.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Mexico office.
- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office per week through September 5, 2025. Beginning September 8, 2025, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days per week.
