Purpose of Role
The Sr. Manager LATAM apparel will develop and lead the implementation of UA’s overall Merchandising vision, strategy & tactics for the region resulting in sustainable, profitable growth and Brand health. Core responsibilities will include long range and seasonal oversight of the: line architecture and product lifecyle; Regional marketplace channel segmentation & assortment strategies; and go-to-market operational effectiveness of entire LATAM business. This leader will work cross-functionally throughout UA to inspire a collaborative and supportive operating environment and be a consensus-builder who drives results.
Your Impact
· Own LATAM Product Strategy - Line Architecture, Lifecycle Planning, Channel Segmentation, Franchise Management
· Drive Regional Seasonal Merchandising Strategy & Implementation - Marketplace Roadmap, Color Architecture, Flow, Hero Product Strategies, Launch Plan, Channel Assortments Including Nucleus & Modular Assortments, Visual Merchandising Plans, Global Hero Looks
· Lead Regional Merchandising GTM Excellence - Collaborate & Effectively Communicate with Functional, Cross-Functional and Global Teammates Timely Achievement of All GTM Milestones Including Quality Tools/Deliverables
· Partner with X Functional Team to develop best in class go to market plans for the Mexico market and for distributors
· Drive in partnership with sales and planning the sell-in process for Mexico market
· Manage in partnership with the planning and sales team especially the sellout obsession in Mexico to read and react to the business to achieve our financial plan
Qualifications
· Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
· Ability to communicate product strategies verbally and in writing.
· Ability to influence cross-functional partners through strong and proven relationships
· Ability to successfully lead a cross-functional pod
· Track record of successfully leading, motivating and developing teams of direct & indirect reports as well as cross-functional members in a matrixed organization
· 10+ years in merchandising including international experience with a variety of go-to market models (wholesale, direct-to-consumer, retail, digital, etc.)
· Proven experience in leading and managing a direct report.
· Global industry experience in consumer products.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Mexico office.
- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office per week through September 5, 2025. Beginning September 8, 2025, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days per week.
