Position Summary

This leadership role is responsible for leading all Planning responsibilities (pre-season, in-season, and demand) for a Mexico Wholesale, in addition to management of accounts open-to-buy which drive sales, margin, turn, and profitability.  This leader is a key strategic partner of multiple Sales Directors, Channel Merchandising Director, and regularly presents to Sr Directors and VPs, collaborating to develop and execute plans that support brand vision.  This leader is critical to delivering revenue and inventory targets for the MX Wholesale business, owning and driving in partnership with the merchandising & sales team the creation of top line and divisional sales that support the key KPI planned metrics.  

In addition, this role includes:

  • Key decision maker for how much product to purchase to support the business plan.
  • Owns receipts and inventory for all Wholesale channels of business
  • Hires, trains and develops 3-4 Sr. Planner/Planner level direct reports. 
  • Annual Sales volume of $120M.  
  • End-to-end Demand Planning ownership.
  • Cross-functional partner driving integrated planning process.
  • Fiscal LE & Demand Alignment ownership.
  • SKU & Class Plan ownership.
  • Drive reconciliation of Seasonal Plans with OTB & retail plans.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Seasonal GTM Planning ownership for Mexico Wholesale Business (Channel & Category):  Responsible for the process of creating seasonal plans and the assessment of the plans created by the planning team. Partner with Merchandise Channel Manager and Sales Directors for consensus and alignment for the entire MX Wholesale Business
  • Financial Planning:  Manage demand plan to financial targets. Drive the review and reconciliation of seasonal retailer and channel OTB/receipt plans. Analyze financial impact to account related to sales/margin/turn. Identify markdown/promotion opportunities and develop contingency plans for inventory management across Mexico Wholesale Accounts
  • Account Analysis:  Understand account level trend analysis of the sales channel.  Review sales trends by account/distributor, category and style with Merchandise Channel Manager and Sales Directors and respond to market trends by informing plans and strategies for future seasons.  Drive Sell out reviews and account touch points in partnership with Sales/Marketing & Merch
  • Team Development and Engagement: Train, mentor and develop a diverse team of Analysts and Planners, Set measurable goals and objectives that ladder up to the Americas strategy Develop and implement action plan to improve teammate engagement.
  • Process & Operations: Responsible for evaluating and driving process improvement across entire MX account base and wholesale distribution channel

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years in experience in Planning , or other related field 
  • Leadership/Managing 

Other Requirements

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Mexico City Office Location 
  • Return To Work Designation: 1-2 days per week in office, remaining days remote.
  • Travel: IE- 5% of the year
