Purpose of Role

 

The Senior Professional, Merchandising Operations is responsible for helping to drive the efficiency and development of the Operations function for Merchandising. Core responsibilities include defining processes, driving alignment between cross-functional partners, and supporting systems related to assortment builds.

 

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and a clear communicator. The individual would have experience in merchandising, retail, or product operations positions. The individual will be expected to support operations excellence and own connections across multiple functions including Global, Marketing, Sales, and Planning.

 

Your Impact

 

  • Develop and drive the processes in the Merchandising function.
  • Own the Merchandising calendar to align the teams with the upcoming milestones in the GTM calendar.
  • Create merchandising tools to help support the sell in process for the commercial team.
  • Coordinate deliverables between key cross functional partners.
  • Support operational development including implementation and on-boarding of merchandising systems.
  • Own the sample process for the region including ordering, target setting, tracking, and management after they arrive.
  • Ensure the EMEA line plan is executed, maintained, and communicated out to the region in a clear and accurate way.
  • Be a connection to Global Operation functions.
  • Drive Price and Margin processes, including cadence, margin setting, and reporting in alignment with the Pricing team.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience or typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree.

 

 

  • Ability to work in an international environment with a clear understanding of cultural differences.
  • Ability to self-start and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish an independent view while effectively collaborating in decision-making forums.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.

 

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Mexico City office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office. )

Base Compensation

 

 $471,718.00 - $648,611.70 MXN

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
