Purpose of Role

The Sr. Inventory Planner – LATAM is responsible for leading our Inventory management, reporting, and disposition strategies to achieve optimal business performance. This role focuses on optimizing inventory levels across the LATAM region to balance on-time service and just-in-time inventory by leveraging advanced data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs). This role focuses on weekly and monthly Inventory reporting, serving as the backbone and key input into almost all downstream inventory management activities. Utilizing this reporting, this teammate drives reporting and disposition strategies for all excess inventory ensuring we maximize company profitability. It plays an active role in managing our Liquidation offerings and ensures eligible inventory levels align with financial targets. Through strategic vision and cross-functional collaboration, it plays a pivotal role in steering the organization towards sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Your Impact

• Drive inventory visibility across the organization through robust and dynamic reporting on weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis. Serve as a critical liaison between Planning and IT/EDM to ensure reports are optimized for performance and content.

• Support the creation and monthly updates for the Regional IRF (driven by the Americas Team). Accurately project all inventory components at Country and month level to feed into S&OP and Quarterly Financial processes and drive alignment throughout the organization.

• Create strategies and lead execution of excess inventory disposition to maximize company profitability and operational efficiency.

• Provide long-range excess inventory projections and detailed SKU-level excess offerings to support our Liquidation partners and create/achieve financial targets for the Region.

• Partner with Fulfilment & Channel Planning leaders to inform and provide actionable feedback that ensures Demand and Inventory alignment.

• Foster collaboration and team development whilst ensuring alignment with organizational and team goals to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, marketing, or a related role.

• Experience in the apparel or footwear industry is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.

• Excellent reporting and data management skills. Experience with Tableau, Azure, and managing large data sets on SharePoint preferred.

• Collaborative and able to provide direction to Global or regional partners, aligning it with organizational objectives and market trends.

• Proficiency in development of inventory management strategies.

• Proactive mindset, with an ability to cross functionally troubleshoot issues and problem solve early.

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Mexico office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office per week through September 5, 2025. Beginning September 8, 2025, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days per week.
