Purpose of Role

Assistant Manager, Visual Merchandising
Assistant Manager, Retail Development and Visual Merchandising will be responsible to increase the footfall of the store by attractively displaying products and merchandise. Reporting to Visual Merchandising Manager are also responsible for the aesthetic ambiance of a retail store in a way that maximizes profitability and involves several tasks.

Sr. Professional, Visual Merchandising
Under Armour EMEA is looking for a Visual Merchandising Senior Professional to be an active member of the EMEA Visual Merchandising team.
Main Role is to create the consumer journey and visual identity within managed sapcesby maximizing sales and the overall brand consistency.
As part of the local team, this person will be integral part of the Go to Market process, from sell-in to retail theatre. Helping accounts to grow their business within managed spaces. Work with third party VM agency to deliver consistency across the market.
The Visual Merchandising Sr Professional will report into the Visual Merchandising Lead and will be based in the UK.

Sr. Professional, VM Space Planner/ Sr. Professional, VM/Field Promotors
The Sr. Professional, Visual Merchandising/Space Planner will work to successfully design, implement and maintain the Brand’s Strategy and Visual Merchandising standards in the region across the strategic wholesale accounts. Will translate our seasonal brand and account strategy to assortment that represents the brand and drive the business plan.
 

Your Impact

Assistant Manager, Visual Merchandising

  • Delivers and maintains excellent standards of Store design & visual merchandising, including designing store themes, creating visual annual calendars, and executing displays and visual strategies.
  • Deal with Mall & Contractor through all phases & Maintenance with the constructor or GC. Also, record & collect payment data for total expenditure by monthly.
  • Comparing and negotiate price with Supplier to get reasonable price, Get Approved Quotation from Manager, Create Purchasing Request and Purchasing order, Get Approve PR and PO by VM Manager, Issue Payment sending for approve, Deliver to Finance.
  • Ensure brand branches have similar themes and display every visual turnover. Determine floor layout, traffic flow, and display points, as well as product identification with respect to the current theme and complimentary of products. Identify and source props, fabrics, hardware, and lighting.
  • To collaborate with the marketing team in creating visual strategies and promotional events in order to entertain, excite, and maintain the interest of the target markets.
  • To lead and motivate team members to complete jobs with high-quality standards and within target deadlines.

Sr. Professional, Visual Merchandising

  • Responsible for rolling out the EMEA visual merchandising strategy in the UK. The role will focus on supporting the Accounts partners with VM direction, spaces set up, seasonal floor sets, staff trainings, guidelines designed to support the market’s needs.
  • Liaise with EMEA office to roll-out the global visual merchandising strategy and brand standards
  • Build strong relationship with local functions, be the voice of VM at the discussion table.
  • Coordinate and train 3rd party VM, provide regular feedback on VM standards through picture reports and identify opportunities for further training.
  • Lead VM space opening by creating VM plans of action. Coordinate with Merchandising, Sales, Retail Marketing and account
  • Deliver guidelines for showroom set-ups.
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as raising Purchase Orders, reports, KPI analysis, cross functional and account communication.

Sr. Professional, VM Space Planner / Sr. Professional, VM/Field Promotors

  • Work in collaboration with Category Merch, GMM and Account Marketing Planners to adopt the right range (style and margin reach) for the Strategic Accounts
  • Support the GMM to create the best and most efficient range (right product, time, value and experience)
  • Partner with wholesale account (owner of the POD) to deliver our business plan
  • Order Samples and set up the show rooms (with the GMM Team) to support the sell-in process with the accounts that are under GMM responsibility
  • Maintain regular analytics / reports on the sell-in and sell-through performance of the specific Account as well as the ROI on marketing investments
  • Provide the Floorset guidance / direction to Channel Marketing (strategic accounts) to a perfect execution and connectivity to the seasonal imagery and marketing investment
  • Define and implement the UA wholesale strategic accounts visual presentation standards for the region.
  • Build strong relationships (communication and feedback) with VM Field promotors and also the wholesale team
  • Responsible for developing plan-o-grams and visual merchandising plans for the strategic accounts
  • Support Retail VM Lead to Train retail staff in visual merchandising standards.
  • Provide regular updates of current visual presentation and feedback on what is successful and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead the merchandising floor set and promotional Calendar
     

Qualifications

ALL 

  • Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience OR typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree

Assistant Manager, Visual Merchandising

  • Strong product knowledge and VM display / standard.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, interior design, retail management or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in visual merchandising with a retail business background.
  • Comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design work.

Sr. Professional, Visual Merchandising

  • Microsoft office, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign basic are required.
  • Can read store floorplans and light plans.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)

Sr. Professional, VM Space Planner / Sr. Professional, VM/Field Promotors

  • 3+ years of Merchandising or Visual Merchandising experience, primarily gained in non-US markets, preferably within the sports apparel industry, ideally with Under Armour
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of non-US markets, ideally attained through living/working in any of LATAM countries
  • Superior presentation and communication skills
  • Great analytical skillset to drive the business with fact base and financial mindset

 $394,190.28-$492,737.85 MXN

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
