Purpose of Role

Join our dynamic Tax team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment. As a Tax Rookie, you will play a key role in supporting various tax functions across the Asia Pacific region, contributing to both compliance and strategic initiatives. 

Your Impact

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax compliance filings across Asia Pacific jurisdictions, and contribute to the regional tax provision process by gathering and analyzing financial data to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Contribute to global tax initiatives by collecting and reporting data to support cross-border tax planning, compliance, and alignment with international tax standards. 
  • Provide support in overseeing intercompany transactions among international entities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Participate in tax optimization projects and assist in addressing ad hoc tax-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and team leaders.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to organize data and prepare reports.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken in business environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail industry.

Workplace Location

  • Location: Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong
  • Work Schedule: Fully in office

 

Base Compensation

  • HKD 70 per hour.
  • The role requires to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
