Position Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Manager Total Reward & Global Mobility for APAC, the Lead, Total Rewards will be responsible for supporting the design and execution of Under Armour’s Total Rewards strategy for the Asia-Pacific region. This role will support the development, implementation and administration of broad-based global compensation and benefits programs.

The Lead, Total Rewards role serves as a trusted advisor with the Asia-Pacific leadership teams and HR Partners.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the corporate and regional HR to share knowledge and develop local plans to implement global rewards initiatives.
  • Support global compensation processes such as benchmarking, pay analysis, merit, and bonus planning as well as compensation administration.
  • Partner with the global Compensation Team on annual salary surveys for countries within the Asia-Pacific region
  • Design, review and implement Global C&B programs, policies, and processes to achieve desired market compensation positioning.
  • Partner with senior leadership in the respective countries /markets in ascertaining C&B gaps and risks with appropriate recommendations. Ensure all employees' compensation and benefit schemes are applied properly.
  • Conducts ad-hoc surveys and market research to stay up to date with trends in the region as it relates to compensation and benefits.
  • Partner with the global compensation team on continuing education in the region as it relates to total rewards programs and initiatives.
  • Serves as a thought partner and subject matter expert to the business and HR partners on total rewards matters.
  • Responsible for upholding the global total rewards philosophy to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.
  • Responsible for assisting in the new development and execution of global talent mobility offers, liaising with local vendors (Immigration, Relocation, Tax, etc)

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Knowledge and experience across broad based total rewards programs, specifically compensation and benefits focused.
  • Experience engaging with senior leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills in order to initiate and develop productive working partnerships with leadership and teammates.
  • Strong Excel skills in order to develop and maintain spreadsheets and perform data analysis. Familiarity with SuccessFactors and Market Pay preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Rewards related statutory requirements across all APAC Countries especially Southeast Asia and China.
  • Knowledge of global mobility at minimum
  • Experience in a change-oriented & fast paced organization would be an advantage.

  • A team player, with a proactive mindset and attune to numbers.

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of compensation experiences in HR. Additional experience in Benefits is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese
