Purpose of Role

The Wave Planner works closely with the PC Managers, Transportation, Account Services, and Operations to help flow volume through the DH. The Wave Planner will partner with Operations to ensure departments remain on schedule, building is in alignment, and team has a constant flow of work. The Wave Planner will also collaborate with the PC Team to ensure orders are planned and prioritized in order to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Your Impact

  • Create daily operation plans that aligns with the prioritization of appointments and SLA
  • Provide the DH with reporting and data analysis via Ad Hoc BI reports and email communication
  • Coordinate expedited order requests with Account Services, Operations and Transportation groups
  • Confirm customer deliveries are waved by the release/route/shipping schedule
  • Ensure customer orders are processed in order of priority based on the routing schedule
  • Participate in projects involving peer partnership and collaboration to solve problems or improve processes that make a network wide impact
  • Competent knowledge and experience of the problem-solving process and its application in addressing critical business issues
  • Establish ability to build and maintain effective working relationships to drive collaboration, teamwork and business results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to tailor message to all levels
  • Demonstrates track record of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills to facilitate data analysis and critical problem solving

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of related experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Order processing systems and data analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Mt. Juliet, TN office
  • Work Schedule: Monday- Thursday, 3:30pm- 2:00am

Base Compensation

$45,000.00-$60,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
