Purpose of Role
The Lead of Brand Partnerships will drive merchandising and creative excellence for Under Armour’s energy launches and Brand partnerships with the DTC channel and with elevated wholesale accounts. This position will ensure that the concepts for this distribution align with a global vision and are curated to connect to the local EMEA consumer. They will provide vision and support to cross-functional partners to fuel Under Armour’s connection to sports culture. The individual will also be responsible for managing the relationships that ensure the success of the integrated plans and final execution in the market.
This role will report directly to the Head of EMEA Merchandising have a dotted line into the Head of Marketing for the EMEA region.
The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator who can articulate the vision and story around concepts to drive and inspire an elevated execution for the consumer. The individual will have contagious energy and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. The individual would have a network in Paris or London and experience in merchandising, brand partnerships, retail, or product management positions in the EMEA region.
Your Impact
- Unlock opportunities in elevated wholesale accounts (boutiques, tier 1 accounts, pop-ups, special projects). Support assortment builds, storytelling at retail, and sell ins for top tier accounts.
- Manage relationships with distribution that has a disproportionate influence on the broader market.
- Drive EMEA Brand storytelling opportunities. Work in close collaboration with Commercial and Marketing to build assortments that are elevated and build a connection with the consumer.
- Develop connections with Global UA teammates. Partner across multiple functions including product, sales, marketing, visual merchandising, and planning to help shape the global strategy and optimize the go-to-market process.
- Regionalize Global Brand collaborations. This role is responsible for ensuring regional activations for Global Brand collaborations are properly planned, executed, and relevant for the EMEA consumer.
- Drive progression and improvement. Evaluate KPI’s and summarize key learnings and insights that can be applied in future. Support the development in guidelines & tools with the marketing team to streamline processes.

- A strong interest in sports and fitness which will translate into authenticity and company connection.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of European Markets with specific focus on Northern Europe ideally attained through living/working in Europe.
- Ability to work in an international environment with a clear understanding of cultural differences.
- Proven quantitative capabilities to assess data, identify trends, and define actions to drive results.
- Ability to self-start and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to establish an independent view while effectively collaborating in decision-making forums.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Fluent in English.
- University degree
- 6-8 years of merchandising and/or product management experience, primarily gained in non-US markets, preferably within the sports apparel, footwear or accessory industry
