Purpose of Role

Do you understand global Retail brands, their mission for consistent communication across different platforms and channels, their need to differentiate from the competition and tell their story? Do you understand multi-brand retailers and how they leverage brands for space productivity? Does your communication style influence collaborative outcomes? Are you able to use data and make analysis for sustainable future growth? 

We are looking for a strong team player; to help us win in a competitive and fast-changing environment. As Retail Design & Development Lead; you will lead the new space opening program for our Strategic Accounts in wholesale business. As the primary point of contact for the accounts; you’ll drive the new space expansion plans & influence key internal stakeholders & accounts. You will manage multiple wholesale projects simultaneously, supporting accounts for Branded Spaces & Shop in Shops from project initiation till completion. You will initiate improvements, set up & improve tools – processes to support the wholesale business for long time success. 

Your Impact

  • Act as primary program lead & contact for the Strategic Accounts based in UK, to drive the space expansion plans, also approval processes, influencing key stakeholders in decision making; communicating and aligning with accounts
  • Develop & support strategies for retailer’s growth, analyze data, suggest ways of efficiencies
  • Collaborate and lead internal / external stakeholders (multi brand-account teams, retailer x-functional teams; contractors, third party vendors, consultants, and architects) 
  • Manage the EMEA Wholesale branded space program; ensuring the projects will be delivered in scope, on time, within budget & quality standards
  • Drive development and improvement of Branded Spaces design and toolkits, guidelines & procedures
  • Provide continuous value engineering on materials & toolkits; acts proactively in making data driven decisions on alternative approaches
  • Manage the Capex for the assigned accounts (budget creation & follow up, forecasting, validation & close out).
  • Manage supply chain for FF&E; places orders, tracks & monitors the global, regional, and local vendors.
  • Support other accounts/projects in region based on needs
  • The role is for a temporary cover for 8 months; further evaluation will be made based on emerging opportunities


  • Graduate / Post Graduate education in related studies; 
  • +12 years of relevant experience of Management / Senior Management level within international retailers
  • Retail Project / Program management experience; with retailer brand head office exposure
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools 
  • Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Ability
  • Strong communication skills: communicates clearly; listens carefully
  • Pro-active and independent while also collaborative and inclusive
  • Team player & highly effective in matrix environments
  • Highly organized but flexible; action oriented with a ‘can do’ attitude
