Purpose of Role
Recruiting is a key component to the success of Under Armour. As a Contract Sr. Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top creative talent across our Product Design (Apparel & Footwear) and Brand Creative teams. This role requires a strong eye for design talent — someone who understands creative portfolios, can recognize exceptional design ability, and knows how to engage with designers and creative professionals. You will partner closely with Design and Creative leadership to develop and execute recruiting strategies, manage full-cycle recruitment, and ensure a strong pipeline of diverse talent for critical design roles.
Your Impact
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for mid- to senior-level design and creative positions, with an emphasis on Product Design (Apparel & Footwear) and Brand Creative.
- Partner directly with design leaders and hiring managers to deeply understand business needs, role requirements, and team culture.
- Proactively source, engage, and nurture top creative talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, portfolio platforms, industry networks, and design communities.
- Screen and assess candidates, evaluating design expertise, creative skills, and cultural fit.
- Provide a best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and transparent process updates.
- Leverage market data, competitor insights, and compensation benchmarks to guide hiring leaders on search strategy and decision-making.
- Drive inclusive sourcing strategies to ensure a diverse candidate pipeline.
- Manage the offer process, including compensation recommendations, verbal and written offer delivery, and pre-boarding support.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition teammates to support cross-functional hiring priorities.
- Contribute to talent mapping and workforce planning initiatives for design and creative functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of recruiting experience, OR 9+ years of relevant work experience without a degree.
- Proven track record recruiting in a design/creative environment (in-house or agency), ideally within apparel, footwear, or consumer brands.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple searches at once, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sourcing skills with proficiency in Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, portfolio review, and design-specific sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with candidates and business partners.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting analytics.
- Experience recruiting across both product design (apparel, footwear, graphics) and brand creative (marketing, content, digital design).
- LinkedIn Recruiter Certification, AIRS/Boolean training, or similar sourcing certifications.
- Knowledge of the global design talent market, industry trends, and creative networks.
