Purpose of Role

The Sr Manager, Omni Channel Solutions will play an integral role in driving Under Armour’s consumer-centric Omni-Channel strategy.  This role will lead the team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of capabilities to enable seamless consumer experiences across all physical and digital shopping touchpoints.  This role will have strong collaboration with the regional business stakeholders and other technology teams across retail, ecommerce, marketing, and distribution.  
Specific technology responsibilities include ownership of the Manhattan Active Omni solution, which acts as Under Armour’s global Order Management System (OMS). Since OMS is the “hub” for all consumer transactions, order routing, payment processing, and flexible fulfillment capabilities such as buy-online-pickup-in-store and fulfillment of online orders from store inventory, this role will be at the center of Under Armour’s strategic vision for direct-to-consumer growth.

Your Impact

Drives Technologies Responsible for Consumer Centric Omni-Channel Experiences:

  • Leads teams in the development, implementation, and support of the global Order Management System (OMS)
  • Directly drives impacts to revenue and consumer brand impressions by enabling seamless consumer experiences; either through direct development of OMS capabilities or through supporting other initiatives that require touchpoints with OMS
  • Oversees the technical design and architectural framework for Under Armour’s OMS technologies and stays current on market trends and product roadmaps of technology platforms to keep Under Armour in front of new capabilities and consumer expectations

Builds Talent and Provides Team Leadership:

  • Attracts, retains, and develops top talent to build a world class team and provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching to team of business analysts and developers
  • Attracts, retains, and develops top talent to build a world class team
  • Selects, onboards, and manages performance of distributed team of internal teammates and external vendors

Collaborates Across Global Teams:

  • Manages a direct relationship with key stakeholders including regional product teams and regional revenue teams to ensure their goals are supported through omni-channel initiatives
    Collaborates in brainstorming, designing, architecting, and implementing new solutions, as well as suggesting tools, technologies, and best practices to improve performance, capabilities, and reliability

Ensures Efficient and Reliable Operations:

  • Directs the development and maintenance of operational procedures for OMS related technology and infrastructure activities and develops and manages annual budgets as well as project budgets driven within area
    Owns all interactions with internal and external auditors regarding OMS security and data privacy

Qualifications

  • Must be able to demonstrate expert ability in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Manhattan Active Omni functionality
  • Strong understanding of current ecommerce & Omni-channel fulfillment industry trends
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business and/or technical requirements and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while ensuring progress on the organization’s top initiatives
  • Proven ability to work as part of a distributed team, preferably including globally distributed teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and committed to meeting deadlines
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive, and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong consumer-centric focus with proven customer service or client management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree + 10 years’ experience in technical or business management field with ecommerce, retail, and omni business processes; may be a mixture of business management and technology experience
  • Master’s degree or MBA Degree + 8 years in technical or business management field
  • 5+ years’ experience with ecommerce, retail, and omni business processes; may be a mixture of business management and technology experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate expert ability in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Manhattan Active Omni functionality
  • Hands on experience across multiple full life-cycle large project implementations, such as an OMS, ERP, retail, and/or ecommerce solution is required
  • Strong understanding of current ecommerce & Omni-channel fulfillment industry trends
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business and/or technical requirements and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while ensuring progress on the organization’s top initiatives
  • Proven ability to work as part of a distributed team, preferably including globally distributed teams

Base Compensation

 $185,600.00 - $255,200.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
