Job Duties

  • Responsible for delivery & mgmt of all Retail Apps at Under Armour. Participate in design, implementation, maintenance & support of Retail apps optimizing use of tech to drive business forward. 
  • Build tech strategy to support each of functional business units under your mgmt: Retail Point of Service platforms, In-store Payments, Integrated In-store Digital Experiences, Store Allocations & Size Optimization systems, RFID & Store Inventory Mgmt, & associated integrations into OMS, Loyalty/CRM, & other Omni-Channel DTC systems. 
  • Help define & drive strategy & execution of vendor relationships, consulting relationships, & third-party dvlpmt relationships. 
  • Manage a Service Delivery team reporting to you that works closely w/ functional teams & other IT groups to understand business outcomes & deliver a top-notch suite of Retail apps. 
  • Oversee & help to drive tech side of all large cross-functional, strategic projects that fall within space of Retail Apps. Provide strategic partnership to tech & functional leadership across other areas of organization. 
  • Manage & ensure key strategies & tech requests are driven from discovery & design, quality assurance, implementation, maintenance, & support of all Retail Apps. 
  • Develop Retail Application service delivery strategy & roadmap while monitoring relationships b/t delivery teams, 3rd party vendors & contractors, digital product teams, business owners & leadership. Manage annual budgets & forward projections (software, service contracts) & ensure delivery team is resourced & structured appropriately to provide continuous successful delivery & support of Retail apps. 
  • Build & maintain partnership w/ functional owners & digital product teams educating on IT services & strategy while managing perception & expectations. 
  • Support dvlpmt of business cases forecasting costs, timeline & resourcing & promotes business project & value to IT leaders. 
  • Maintain knowledge of multiple business functions & initiatives to identify where conflicts/synergies exist b/t tech & business functions. 
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of current & future directions of industry & associated technologies, &, where appropriate, makes recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems & technologies within framework of Global Operating Model. Identifies & mitigates potential problems & conflicts w/ IT delivery. 
  • Assist w/ investigations, propose & evaluate solutions, provides insights into strategy, informs strategic thinking from a business & technical architecture perspective. 
  • Provide analytical & conceptual direction throughout change lifecycle, ensuring alignment & integrity of deliverables w/ program & strategic objectives. 
  • Provide recommendations to preserve integrity of business processes across various changes to ensure delivery of holistic integrated solutions.

  • Participate in development of IT strategy & identification of design & technical architectures to support business architecture & business strategic intent. 
  • Collaborate & partners w/ cross functional stakeholders & owners to define & maintain tech & capability roadmap within portfolio. 
  • Work w/ business partners to build & map their strategy to new or existing IT services. 
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of business plans of company. Stay abreast of key developments in industry & among competitors & uses this knowledge to direct & influence investment decisions. 
  • Strengthen productivity through teammate development working closely w/ direct reports on education & learning opportunities developing & refining skills to match career map & areas of interest related to respective roles & duties. 
  • Provide coaching, guidance & direction to team on ways of working optimizing delivery framework for maximum benefit & agility. 
  • Validate, support, maintain & adhere to compliancy, tech & cyber security standards executing necessary audits & business continuity plans. 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related technical or business management field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible information technology experience. 

Experience must include:

  • 5 years of experience with ERP Systems (SAP), Point of Sale applications, Planning and Allocation Systems, Inventory Management and RFID solutions and other leading Systems integrations
  • 5 years of experience successfully implementing cross-functional Enterprise projects.
  • 5 years of experience in role with customer facing transactional systems
  • 3 years of experience with direct and/or indirect personnel management
  • 5 years of experience with vendor management
  • 5 years of experience with IT project management

Base Compensation

 $169,578 – $203,874

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
