Position Summary

The Asset Protection Teammate is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental health program compliance in the Rialto Distribution House.  The Asset Protection Teammate will utilize different resources to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the Rialto Distribution House’s physical security, and driving a shrink elimination culture.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•    Read, analyze, and interpret general financial statements, investigative reports, technical procedures and policies and procedures.
•    Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting any investigations, as well as preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in criminal and civil court actions.
•    Effectively present information to and interface with various departments including, but not limited to Rialto Distribution House Operations, Information Technology, Legal, HR, and Retail.
•    Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality when conducting investigations and handling information.
•    Must be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with operating management while leading objective internal audits.
•    Assist in maintaining all aspects of access control, including, but not limited to, visitor management, card access management and ID badge creating and management.
•    Complete daily patrols to ensure compliance to all physical security controls.
•    Execute a set of minimum standards that include, daily, weekly, and monthly internal audits and assessments focused on asset protection policies and safety and environmental health standards.
•    Test and maintain security system equipment related to the overall physical security program.
•    Must be able to promote an environment of physical security that mitigates the threat of theft and violence.
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

•    Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; ability to follow detailed instructions both written and verbally; ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures; ability to apply concepts of basic math. 
•    Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Familiarity with digital camera systems and card access software

Education And / Or Experience

•    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; 6 months warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Requirements

•    Travel: IE- 5-10% of the year 
•    PC Experience: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
