Purpose of Role

This person is responsible for supporting the logistics function, including but not limited to 3PL partner management and trade compliance. This role ensures customer service by resolving delivery issues, building relationships with the 3PL partner, managing competing priorities, and executing against strategic initiatives to enhance business performance. 

Your Impact

  • Manage 3PL performance to ensure efficient warehousing operations (Inbound, Outbound, Returns, Maintenance) and optimize logistics services.
  • Drive logistics process improvements to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Demand & Supply Planning) to achieve KPIs like fill rate, on-time delivery, and shipment accuracy.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and work to close gaps to improve service levels.
  • Oversee inventory management, including space optimization, inventory accuracy, and reconciliation using SAP/WMS.
  • Validate and approve 3PL and freight-related payments to ensure cost accuracy.
  • Resolve logistics and delivery issues by communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support global strategic initiatives and logistics-related projects.
  • Ensure import compliance, including arranging customs declarations and acquiring necessary permits, licenses, and certificates.
  • Coordinate with global logistics teams on incoming shipments, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) savings, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • University degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the retail industry
  • Preferably with in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with or understanding of duty audit scopes is a plus
  • Prior experience managing 3PL partners is preferred
  • Fluency in both Korean and English is an advantage
  • SAP experience is preferred
