Position Summary

As a member of the Korea Marketing team, you’ll be charged with developing and bringing to life digital marketing plans that will help Under Armour Korea and its athletes and ambassadors gain visibility and drive business with existing and new consumers. You will be the point of contact for the category across digital media, pulling together go-to marketing strategies that ensure the consumer has a seamless experience across all channels. You will serve as the voice and the ears of the category online by fostering the communities and reporting on insights.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the formulation of marketing plan to build a lasting digital connection with consumers  
  • Digital/social media execution and performance tracking to drive brand & product stories
  • Localize and archive global creative assets to utilize on local owned social channel  
  • Develop social contents plan across channels including Facebook, Instagram & YouTube
  • Manage editorial calendar across all social channels, working off key product and category stories
  • Attention detail to publish content, deliver compelling and clear brand messages
  • Monitor on-going Under Armour presence on social media and online communities
  • Serve as the category point of contact for the editorial calendar, working with key stakeholders and evangelizing the calendar internally 
  • Collaborate with agencies to improve content excellence
  • Write copy across all social media channels, working closely with creative agency  
  • Publish real-time content and engagements targeted to customers, fans, and influencers
  • Become an advocate for the company in digital media space, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate 
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams (e-commerce, merchandising, retail, brand communications, and customer service) to ensure alignment of content with company vision and support integrated campaigns
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, platforms, channels, design and strategy
  • Stay current with digital and subject matter trends to make recommendations that are relevant to Under Armour's social/digital presence  

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • High interesting in retail (sports) business and consumer trend in marketing and general culture
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience   
  • 3+ years of experience in consumer marketing area
  • 2+ years of experience with digital/social media communications preferred 
  • Experience of creating social content is a plus
  • Excellent written/oral communication, presentation, editing, graphic arts, copywriting skills
  • Constant curiosity to find new ways to approach creative and analytics problems  
  • Proficient in Mac OS & Microsoft Office   
  • Sincere attitude and enthusiasm 
  • Good communication skill with related business partner and ability of persuasion
  • Entrepreneurship attitude 
  • Effective working independently and ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven, and dynamic environment
