Position Summary

Collaborate with Channel owners and internal key stakeholders to develop and manage the top-line financial plan & Retail Plan for Channel & Partners across Division, Gender, End Use, and its product dimensions.  Proactively manage and measure the business to ensure profitability and sustainable growth. This individual will work in partnership with commercial teams as well as our teams amongst others to drive and deliver results.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in analyzing historical data and current trends while identifying risks and opportunities
  • Analyze business performance during weekly sales to support Open To Buy meetings and manage demand of buying product units in the system
  • Publish product weekly sell through reporting and provide analysis on trends
  • Develop topline business review of business & sales versus plan and previous years
  • Align financial plans by utilizing Commercial Teams/Account’s strategy & profitability, sell-thru and store growth and marketplace information
  • Inform fore sighting of line plans with long-range category plans, utilize marketplace insights to identify long range growth opportunities

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

  • Internal: MERCHANDISING, RETAIL, E-COMMERCE, SCM, APAC PLANNING TEAM
  • External: STRATEGIC & KEY WHOLESALE ACCOUNTS

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail math & Ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business
  • Ability to adopt analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex quantitative data
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships to drive collaboration, teamwork 
     

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, fashion, marketing or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in buying, planning, allocation and/or vendor sales for retail business
  • Excellent partnership skills
  • Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred
