Purpose of Role

The Senior Manager, E-commerce leads strategy and execution across online sales channels. This role drives e-commerce strategy, KPI analysis, and sales performance across UA.COM and marketplaces (Coupang, Naver, etc.), ensuring revenue growth and brand presence. The candidate will optimize performance and enhance customer experience through collaboration with brand marketing, digital marketing, and retail teams. By working closely with retail, Merchandising, Planning, and Marketing, he/she will develop omnichannel strategies to strengthen online to offline integration. A visionary leader, he/she will leverage data-driven insights and digital innovation to accelerate business growth.

Your Impact

  • Owns the strategic direction of a portfolio of products and services and is responsible for setting the long-term vision, strategy and roadmap and omni- channel connectedness for those products and services. 
  • Lead cross functional, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex features/functionality and strategic capabilities (engineering, design, project management, CX, consumer insights, testing)
  • Work with the Consumer Experience and Insights teams to identify consumer needs to build features/functionality that increase engagement to drive brand love, sales and make focused performers better.  In addition, must fully understand competitive space as an input into the product vision/strategy.
  • Develop and execute APAC/global e-commerce strategies to meet sales and targets.
  • Own commercial planning: pricing, promotions, product launches, segmentation, digital content, and marketplace growth.
  • Work closely with marketing, IT, logistics, product, and customer service to align priorities and drive campaigns.
  • Manage external partners including platform vendors, agencies and fulfillment providers.
  • Lead or mentor e-commerce team members; interface with APAC/global stakeholders for strategy alignment.
  • Present performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership; drive alignment on investment and strategy.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of full-funnel digital commerce strategies, with the ability to develop and implement cohesive marketing plans across all stages of the customer journey, from awareness to loyalty
  • Ability to drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and leadership, aligning e-commerce strategies with broader sales goals and customer needs         
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present strategies and insights to senior leadership
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools (Salesforce SAP, CDP, or similar)
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, including direct reports and stakeholders across marketing, retail, planning, IT, and supply chain
  • Expertise in A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis for continuous optimization
  • Strong understanding of technical terms related to e-commerce, marketing, and IT
  • Extensive experience in managing e-commerce system integration projects, including ERP, OMS, WMS

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Statistics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate fluently in both written and spoken forms
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, SAP, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads.

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Seoul office.
  • Work Schedule: 4 days per week in office.
