Purpose of Role

This person is responsible for leading the Supply Chain Operations in Korea. He/she supports the execution of Logistics and warehouse strategy and implements financial metrics and associated KPIs for supply chain network. This role ensures customer service by resolving delivery issues, building relationships with the 3PL partner, managing competing priorities, and executing against strategic initiatives to enhance business performance.

Your Impact

Strategic planning to drive continuous supply chain (cost and service) improvements

  • Develop and implement key performance metrics for Inbound/Outbound/Return transportation including on time delivery, cost savings, import compliance, and container utilization and maintain insight into industry and global logistic trends that will benefit the organization in the industry.
  • Lead 3PL partner to execute best practices and identify opportunities to mitigate and manage risk effectively.
  • Continuously analyze and reforecast the DH inventory flow and processing volume to recommend & implement strategies to ensure DH optimization and smooth product flow
  • Plans, manages all project related to supply chain by collaborating with local/regional/HQ team

Order Book Management

  • Manage customer orderbooks in SAP system. Ensure a clean orderbook is always maintained (OTIF), reflecting the latest customer demand and requested delivery dates.
  • Develop and enhance data visibility to effectively communicate with internal or external stakeholders to resolve any issues related to deliveries & service levels and make adjustments where needed.

S&OP Management

  • Lead implementation of best-in-class S&OP processes and drive integrated planning strategy across multiple cross-functional organizations.
  • Continuously analyze and reforecast demand/supply/inventory flow and recommend strategies to ensure plan is achieved.
  • Takes the lead in analyzing inventory trends on a monthly basis to drive overall inventory efficiency and turn by (a)providing inventory aging reports to all functions, (b) identify excess inventory for clearance, (c) work with retail and wholesale on timely clearance plans, (d) presenting updates in monthly S&OP meetings with regional leadership team.

Cross Functional Collaboration & Team Management

  • Works with a keen attention to detail to effectively update and communicate project plans and critical project tasks with appropriate internal and external stakeholders, up to and including the executive levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to bridge the gap between multiple departments and support the business by providing effective & workable Logistics solutions
  • Set up the team in accordance with role and responsibility identified at global/regional level and reorganizing/deploying jobs among the team to determine headcount requirements.

Qualifications

  •  Strong presentation skills

  • Experience in S&OP process

  • Strategic thinking and capable to influence different stakeholders throughout the process

  • Ability to drive changes for driving operating efficiency

  • Knowledge in different systems like SAP and proficient in MS Excel and MS office application

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills    

  • Bachelor's degree

  • +15 years of successful SCM experiences in consumer/FMCG industry
