Purpose of Role

As Sr. Professional Business Development, this role is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic growth opportunities to drive revenue, expand market presence, and build long-term partnerships. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, in-depth market analysis, and the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level.

Your Impact

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product, markets, or segments.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
  • Lead the end-to-end business development process from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to develop effective sales solutions.
  • Prepare and present business cases, proposals, and financial models to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide insights on UA marketplace sell-out performance to cross-functional team including merchandising, marketing & inventory planning.
  • Monitor KPIs and report on business development progress to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Gather useful information from clients and competitor data.
  • Work together with all Sales supporting functions to ensure best possible future conditions for a mutual profitable business.
  • Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business.
  • Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical & organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills- ability to build partnerships
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to communicate down, across and up within the organization
  • Communication skills in both English and Korean
  • Must be highly skilled with MS Office programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • 6+ Years Business experience, ideally in wholesales/ planning/ business development role
  • 2 years of experience in in sports or fashion industry with focus on retail expertise
  • Bachelor's degree
