Purpose of Role
The Senior Professional, Specialty Account Management will drive business growth and strengthen brand presence through Specialty Partners in the Korea market.
This role is responsible for developing and executing mid-to-long term commercial plans that align with Under Armour’s marketplace strategy, focusing on expanding market and seeking opportunities across core specialty channels such as performance-focused multi-shops and regional sports retailers – online & offline borderless.
The position will play a pivotal role in elevating retail excellence through data-driven account planning, merchandising coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams.
This role ensures healthy and profitable partnerships that contribute to the premium positioning of the Under Armour brand.
Your Impact
- Find opportunities to expand UA’s business in Specialty market of categorized sector as well as multi-based online & offline business partners
- Identify new specialty account opportunities and evaluate channel profitability for optimized marketplace distribution.
- Lead business planning and performance management with Specialty Partners to achieve sell-out growth, margin target, and stock efficiency.
- Lead the GTM(Go-To-Market; Seasonal sell-in) process with Partners during Pre-season, In-season and Post-season
- Drive Gross to Net performance and sell through by responding to opportunities for replenishment, and driving healthy cancellations and returns
- Work with multi-functional teams and Partner to ensure sales, margin and inventory turn goals are achieved on a seasonal basis, working across functions to maximize results
- Track performance and profitability of the Partner’s business through quarterly reviews with Partners, and co-develop action plans with Partners and cross-functionally to improve performance
- Consistently monitor competitive landscape and activity as front facing member of organization and proactively develop solutions
- Track and manage future order inbound status and plan shipment schedule with sales target alignment or adjustment.
- Simulate and track account receivable and ensure to reduce financial risk
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Retail Math (Sales KPIs, Margin, Inventory turn etc.)
- Analytic skills to interpret quantitative and qualitative data
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Experience being comfortable with ambiguity, change and conflict
- Ability to lead a cross-functional teams for communicating vision & purpose
- Ability to present a professional and informative product presentations to internal and external audiences
- Communication skills in both English and Korean
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in Business Administration)
- 5+ years in sports or fashion industry with focus on retail expertise
- Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
- Valid driver license and clear driving record
