Purpose of Role
Under Armour Korea is looking for a talented professional to join our Merchandise Planning team. This role is a rare opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing brand and division. Passion, desire, and integrity are traits we look for in our teammates. You will play a key role in the pre-season planning process as well as in-season planning for UA Korea and can make an instant impact to the business. This individual will work closely with almost every team at UA to drive and deliver results.
Your Impact
- Develop and lead pre-seasonal/ in-season plans for BH and FH by analyzing data and current trend while identifying risks and opportunities.
- Overall merchandising figure controls for right product, right time, and right place including buying plan, allocation, and inventory management.
- Lead the tracking, testing, and analysis of contingency pricing strategies for BH and FH, providing detailed reports and recommendations to improve channel performance.
- Own the development and management of weekly demand and pricing plans for BH and FH across categories (full price, promotions, markdowns) to ensure alignment with financial and sales targets.
- Partner with Regional Merchandise Financial Planning teams to reconcile top-down and bottom-up plans, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Work with Merchandising to align the bottom-up financial plan for BH and FH with the assortment strategy, ensuring inventory and sales goals are met.
- Guide and mentor a team of planners, fostering collaboration and team development whilst ensuring alignment with organizational and team goals to drive successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Ability to be a part of a team, set challenging standards, develop strong partnerships, and lead others to action.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear understanding on Retail KPI and targets, buying strategies and GTM processes.
- Strong sense of Sports & fashion trends
- Ability to influence and lead people.
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- 7+ years in sports or fashion industry with focus on retail expertis
