Purpose of Role
As a key player in UA China FP&A team, this role will be the core finance business partner leading topline planning, performance tracking and data-driven insights across all China channels, to support the market to deliver sustainable revenue growth against short and long-term business targets.
Your Impact

Financial Planning and Reporting
- Lead full scope of UA China topline financial activities, owning forecast processes including quarterly forecast, AOP, and 3YP, as well as actual tracking and reporting including weekly sales update, monthly business reporting and variance analysis routines.
- Serve as finance partner for UA China O&O retail and e-commerce businesses, build centralized sales database, track and analyze sales, comp and KPI, and deliver sales trend forecasts to support agile business decision-making.
- Provide end-to-end topline financial support for UA China wholesale channel, connecting with KA and planning team to manage retail POS sales, OTB and G2N execution, proactively identify business challenges and untapped growth opportunities across the channel.
- As a business partner to the commercial teams to drive business performance to achieve strategic and financial objectives.
- Supporting in projects and strategic initiatives such as new business models, system implementation, and new capabilities will be required.
- Coordinate effectively across functional teams to facilitate meaningful discussions around budgeting and forecasting.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Decision Support Financial Analysis
- Lead in-depth financial analysis to understand variance and trending of revenue drivers. Interpret business results and articulate actionable recommendations to drive achievement of financial targets.
- Collaborate with Commercial, IT and Accounting teams on developing analytical KPIs and automated reports to support business decision making and enhance work efficiency
- Serve as financial consultant to business functions with solid financial projections and analysis.
- Participate in key business projects to evaluate business proposals and quantify opportunities and risks.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed to support projects and operational decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong business sense and critical thinking ability
- Proven resilience with an ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across functions and influence others with business recommendation.
- Expertise in Excel, financial modeling, scenario/sensitivity analysis, ROI, NPV and IRR analysis.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- 5 ~ 7 years of finance and accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree and above; Major in Finance and Accounting preferred
- Excellent in Excel and PowerPoint.
- SAP experience a plus.
- Consumer Products, Retail Industry or high-growth environment experience strongly preferred.
- Topline forecast experience is preferred.
