Purpose of Role

Department: Merchandising& Planning

Report Line: Manager, Merchandising

Your Impact

• Working with O&O merchandising manager to develop a seasonal business plan and assortment strategy utilizing prior seasons’ assortment performance, sku productivity and market/brand insight for O&O store.
• Partner with the planning team to translate O&O strategies to the buy.
• Understand channel business to build differentiated assortment and channel exclusive plan to deliver growth opportunities.
• Partner with Category Merchants to define channel business opportunity and define right assortment/ product.
• Partner with VM to brief monthly floorset & exclusive assortment plan for well execute.
• Regular store visit to well know the store situation and market trend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Minimum of 3-4 years of merchandising experience with retail company for key categories.
• Technically proficient.
• Passion and insights on product.
• Good commercial sense and understand channel differentiation.
• Strong analytical skills to publish recaps and insights for regular reports.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing across departments, with peers in both English and Mandarin.
• Good communication skills and channel experiences would be plus.
