Purpose of Role

This role will oversee all recruitment activities for both Corporate and Retail sectors across the South APAC region, including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. He/she will take lead in identifying internal and external candidates for open roles and partnering with Business Leaders as a talent acquisition advisor, fueling the talent engine across different business units. In addition to owning full-cycle recruitment for open roles, this role will be expected to assist with senior-level searches and strategic talent sourcing initiatives in support of the TA Snr Manager, APAC, partnering with the HRBPs/coordinators to provide a top-notch candidate experience, and maintain strong working relationships with HRBPs, Finance and Business Leaders.

Your Impact

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting process for Corporate & Retail openings in South APAC. Work closely with the team/business managing all diversity initiatives involving talent acquisition to ensure fairness in hiring practices.
  • Conduct recruitment related research including competitor analysis, agency analysis, salary information. Find out and utilize various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter networking events and job fairs.
  • Provide expert advice to hiring managers through the use of external employment data, salary benchmarking, internal hiring data and local trends/ best practices in the responsible markets.
  • Assist in managing Talent Management Program including upcoming Rookie Programs & Management Trainee Programs for South APAC Enhance working relationships with universities and Colleges to source and create a solid talent pipeline for future hiring needs of the business.
  • Provide administrative support to schedule interviews and arrange candidate agendas for requested positions
  • Lead recruitment status meetings for hiring managers and partner with Human Resources Business Partners, Global Compensation and Global Mobility throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Both lead and participate in strategic TA team projects including Employer Branding, Internship Programme and Recruitment process management.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of full-lifecycle, high volume recruitment; in-house/corporate recruiting experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledgeable with recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms such as SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or others preferred.
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic environment of change and high-volume recruitment with the constant challenge of multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills; this individual should have the ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization.
  • Team player with the ability to build partnerships with clients, vendors/ preferred suppliers and HR colleagues.
  • Accountable for projects and owns time management.
  • Highly motivated with a proactive work ethic and an eye for detail.
  • High degree of initiative and can "think on your feet" in stressful and ambiguous situations.
  • Able to handle the highest level of confidential issues with the utmost sensitivity.

 

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Singapore office.
  • Return to Work Designation: Hybrid work arrangement permits working from home on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility subject to company requirements.
