Purpose of Role
The Executive, Key Account is responsible for building and growing wholesale revenue, supporting the end to end Under Armour business in an assigned territory in SEA by overseeing company needs, handling daily business issues, managing company associations, and recognizing business opportunities. He/she will possess excellent relationship building skills, demonstrate understanding of customer experience, has a consultative approach to achieve results, and is comfortable talking to customers at all levels of responsibility. The Executive, Key Account will assist the Commercial Director in implementing the strategic direction of South APAC in the assigned territories.
Your Impact
- Organizational Impact:
- Achieve revenue target set by identifying and developing new business opportunities in alignment with business strategy for assigned accounts.
- Manage and convert order book in a timely manner and provide best in class service levels to assigned accounts.
- Cascade and execute go-to-market plans and ensure the successful launch of new products.
- Monitor market/consumer insights and competitor actions and develop strategies to take advantage or preventive actions.
- Report and analyse monthly sales, sell-in/ sell-through, inventory in market.
- Co-lead organization of seasonal trade show with Marketing.
- Creativity & Innovation:
- Suggest process improvements and enhancements to optimize the performance of the assigned territory.
- Bridge the requirements of UA with the customers' requirements and to implement UA brand standards in the assigned territories. The role therefore requires good communication and negotiation skills.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Lead strategic development and business roadmap with customers to ensure overall brand proposition is aligned with South APAC functions. Key internal stakeholders are Marketing, Merchandising, Wholesale, Finance and Supply Chain. Key external stakeholders are the assigned customers, potential new accounts.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Sales Development preferably within the sports and apparel industry.
- University degree in business administration, major in Sales & Marketing will be preferred.
- Native proficiency in English with conversational proficiency in a second language is preferred.
- Superior analytical, presentation and negotiation skills, self-starter and independent.
- Persistence and resilience in pursuit of objectives, not afraid of taking on new tasks and resolving challenges.
- Demonstrates strong passion for the brand and sports in general.
- Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values.
- Technical Skills - Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, and Shares expertise with others.
Workplace Location
- Location: Singapore Office
- Return To Work Designation: Hybrid work arrangement permits working from home on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility subject to company requirements.
