Purpose of Role

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Intern will have the opportunity to gain insights into Direct-to-Consumer (Retail and E-commerce) and Wholesaler/Distributor business models across the SAPAC region. The successful applicant will be included in and developed within all FP&A areas, ranging from planning and forecasting to analyzing and reporting deliverables for a variety of stakeholders.

We will prioritize candidates who can dedicate themselves to a full-time, 6-month internship.

Your Impact

  • Develop a deep understanding of FP&A functions and specific lines of business, including DTC, Wholesaler/Distributor, and SG&A.
  • Participate in planning and streamlining forecasting files and processes.
  • Support month-end closing activities.
  • Provide timely and in-depth weekly financial performance reports, monthly management reports, and other reporting deliverables.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc projects based on manager needs.

Exposure

  • Exposure to the foundations of FP&A within the retail industry.
  • The ability to understand and gain hands-on experience supporting month-end closing and day-to-day operations.
  • Experience communicating across a diverse organization with many different cultures, geographies, and preferences.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Candidates pursuing a qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A keen learner who is detail-oriented, resourceful, and driven.
  • An individual who understands the need for ownership and possesses a sense of urgency, featuring strong follow-up skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • The ability to work effectively with a team or independently as needed.
  • A willingness to listen, include others, and respect the beliefs of teammates.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a particular focus on Excel.
