Purpose of Role
The Marketing Professional, South APAC will be responsible for the development and execution of Marketing plans in the South APAC region, in particular the Franchise Partners and Wholesale accounts. He/she will be supporting the partners and accounts in reviewing and evaluating their seasonal plan, providing support for their execution, adhered to global brand standards. He/She will also be supporting South APAC Marketing’s Go-To-Market process, including seasonal tradeshow executions. This role will report to the Marketing Manager, South APAC.
Your Impact
Account Management
- Support the Marketing Manager, and work in partnership with the Commercial team, to provide strategic marketing inputs and recommendations to help partners and accounts build the UA brand and drive business in their market
- Manage day-to-day communication with partners and accounts, and support their marketing needs such as global brand guidelines and campaign assets for digital, social media, advertising, events, retail purposes
- Share best practices and elevate their level of execution
- Support the budget management process for each partner/account
Go-To-Market Seasonal Planning
- Support the Marketing Manager on the seasonal planning process and key product stories, working cross-functionally with Commercial and Merchandising teams and with partner accounts
- Support the seasonal tradeshow planning and execution
Market Execution & Reporting
- Track availability of assets globally, identify gaps, and ensure timely delivery of assets and style guides
- Be the brand custodian – review all marketing communications and creatives to ensure they are executed to global brand guidelines
- Keep abreast of consumer behaviour, industry trends, social media and content, competitors’ activities, etc to optimise campaign outcomes
- Manage monthly reports covering social media, and regional campaigns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
- 2 years of relevant experience in marketing for Sports, Retail and/or consumer products
- Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking
- Proven project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Diligent and positive working attitude, multi-task and detail-oriented
- Willing to take on new challenges and resolve issues
- Demonstrates a strong passion for sports and the brand
