Position Summary

The Senior Executive, Learning & Development for South APAC is responsible for supporting Learning & Development needs in their specialized areas (i.e. Athlete experience, product innovation & tech etc), in collaboration with HR, Retail, RHO, Marketing, Merchandising and Wholesale. This role will contribute to the overall sub-region initiatives and strategies by supporting the analysis of business needs and learning gaps from the developmental perspective. This role, in partnership with the management team, and with the guidance from the Senior Lead L&D, South APAC, will formulate, design, develop and eventually roll-out and evaluate/analyze effectiveness of learning initiatives in their specific specialization. The role will seek to further the strategic goals of the business, including supporting the implementation and roll-out of all digital learning technologies and physical learning initiatives, in collaboration with Global Talent Development & Training teams. This role will also partner key wholesale accounts to drive the brand, learning of innovation & technology and support strategic business initiatives with the wholesale team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support South APAC L&D and collaborate with key training representatives across Key Accounts to ensure planning, implementation and up to date gap analysis and learning initiative implementation across the locations based on agreed-upon Training Support Systems and other ad hoc learning activities.
  • Plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate retail (Product Innovation, Sales & Service, Leadership & Human skills) strategies and initiatives targeted at teammates across all O&O, Franchise and Wholesale accounts.
  • Maintain a Learning Management System, Social Learning System and Trainer Management System that ensures effective learning, quality training and business centric outcomes
  • Partner with various commercial and support teams, including Retail, RHO, Wholesale, Marketing, HR and E-comm to support activities relating to Technology & Innovation of Seasonal Products and Core Products
  • Provide innovative suggestions based on new learning trends to be incorporated into Learning Design and Delivery, to ensure effective training outcomes i.e. Enhanced NPS Scores, increase in Retail KPIs (CR%, ATV, UPT, AUR), increased EES scores

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in HRD, Organizational Psychology and/or equivalent education
  • At least 3 years in Learning & Development/HR, regional exposure is an advantage
  • DACE, ACTA or ACLP Qualifications will be an advantage
  • Industry specific experience in hospitality or retail preferred
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and develop team members at all levels
  • Intermediate understanding of local Skills Development Initiatives (Skillsfuture)
  • Possesses a diplomatic nature with ability to provide specialised insights in learning & development
  • Hands-on and able to implement and pivot learning strategies according to macro and micro factors, that drives business goals
  • Possesses high level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demands of themselves and of others the highest professional standards of personal and professional integrity
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and facilitation skills and comfortable in presenting to large groups
  • Financial acumen to see learning opportunities to support commercial growth
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English essential with proficiency in second language (Chinese/Malay) is preferred
  • Ability to travel extensively (at least 30% of the time)
