Purpose of Role

The Human Resources Rookie will be part of the SAPAC HR team, supporting day-to-day operations and assisting in the administration of various HR policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with Singapore’s laws, standards, and regulations.

Priority will be given to candidates who can commit to a full-time, 6-month internship from July to December 2025.

Your Impact

• Work closely with HRBPs to communicate and administer various Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with laws, standards, and government regulations.
• Provide administrative support, as needed, to the HR Director/General Manager and HRBPs, including creating and maintaining organizational charts, scheduling, coordination, and preparation for key meetings.
• Support both retail and corporate employee life cycle processes.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and advisories.
• Support Talent Acquisition in candidate management tasks, including screening, managing candidate inquiries, and handling resumes and communications within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Assist with Talent Acquisition initiatives such as the Rookie Program, Campus Fairs, Employee Referral Program, employer branding initiatives, and other related projects.
• Gather documentation for terminations and resignations, and ensure timely return and processing of all relevant documents.
• Assist with onboarding new teammates in collaboration with the recruiter, onboarding team, and hiring manager.
• Schedule and/or conduct exit interviews; analyze data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Oversee and manage teammate engagement activities and recognition programs to support retention.
• Promote and maintain a positive teammate experience, and help drive the UA culture across all levels of the business unit.
• Perform office management duties as required.

Qualifications

• A strong interest in Human Resources is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong multitasking skills and a good sense of urgency, with effective time management
• Takes initiative and is able to work independently with strong follow-up skills
• Independent learner who is open to guidance from seniors and managers within the organization
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills

• Return To Work Designation: Hybrid work arrangement permits working from home on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility subject to company requirements.
