Purpose of Role
The Visual Merchandising Executive plays a key role in bringing the brand to life across diverse markets in South Asia Pacific, supporting Franchise Partners (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, India, etc.) and managing Hong Kong directly. This role is responsible for executing visual merchandising strategies that strengthen brand image, elevate the consumer experience, and drive commercial impact across retail and partner doors. It also includes supporting new store openings in the region. Working closely with the VM Manager, South Asia Pacific, the role ensures brand consistency through localized adaptation of VM concepts, impactful seasonal displays, and effective in-store storytelling.
Your Impact
- Adapt and execute global and regional VM guidelines to suit local market needs across Franchise Partners and Hong Kong.
- Design and develop seasonal toolkits, including planograms, launch zones, and campaign displays to support sell-through.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Store Design, and Retail teams to ensure consistent brand presentation across all store formats.
- Coordinate and oversee new store openings, remodels, and category launches, ensuring VM readiness and alignment with brand standards.
- Provide guidance and training to Franchise Partner VM teams and store staff to maintain executional excellence and consistency.
- Conduct regular market visits to review implementation, identify opportunities, and share best practices to enhance the in-store experience.
- Support ad-hoc projects including window concepts, fixture development, and POP creation to enhance brand visibility.
- Partner closely with Retail Store Design from initial drawings to the building stage to optimise store layouts, fixture placement, and consumer flow that drive commercial performance.
- Monitor and report on VM execution quality through photo reviews, audits, and feedback loops with partners, ensuring monthly photo store reports are submitted.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities, contributing insights to continuously evolve brand presentation.
- Conduct cadence calls with Franchise Partner VM teams to provide updates on campaign launches and progress.
- Monitor and track retail marketing asset deliveries from Global/APAC, ensuring franchise partner markets are aligned with the assets.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably within retail or sports/fashion environments.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail, with a keen eye for spatial design and storytelling.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with SketchUp or other 3D visualisation tools preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders across markets.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented, with a passion for elevating the brand experience.
- Comfortable with regional travel as required based on business needs.
