Position Summary

The Professional, Photo Studio – Creative Operations is an integral part of providing world class product and editorial photography to our direct to consumer and wholesale partners globally.  The position is a hands-on in-studio role that will require constant interaction with the studio team and global business stakeholders.  This role is responsible for implementing industry-standard best practices and learnings specific to our Creative Operations and pre-production processes.  This role will also be focused on balancing the quality and efficiency demands of the production process and will utilize data to drive creative decisions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Position will act as a merchandising liaison.
  • Managing merch collections while tracking image completions and hard launches of said collections. 
  • Facilitate the creation and approval of all seasonal style guides
  • Develop and maintain an end-to-end multi-fiction seasonal calendar
  • Oversee the seasonal sample discrepancy processes while maintaining executive level summaries of fill-rates, usability, retouching requirements, and asset creation
  • Project management oversight: oversee creative department workflows and out-of-scope studio production requests
  • Drive continuous improvement via technology and process change
  • Assist in coordinating all aspects of pre-production for product and editorial
  • Develop and maintain a calendar for product launches and work with the appropriate teams to ensure all hard launch dates are met
  • Serve as a liaison between the Studio Agency Partner and internal UA Stakeholders
  • Facilitate the expansion and tracking of 3D asset conversation
  • Partnering with Ecommerce, Wholesale, and Product teams for style guides and image tracking.
  • Track Samples & Fill rates in partnership with studio agency partner.
  • Facilitate Discrepancy Reviews with product teams to ensure sample accuracy.
  • Manage swatch process between UA & studio agency partner.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software and MS Office
  • Understanding of graphic systems and style guides to communicate branding and campaign messaging executed across multiple platforms and formats.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and utilize resources to execute tasks within a deadline-oriented environment independently and resourcefully
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • The ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Inquisitive mind and a solution-oriented personality
  • Flexible and able to adjust priorities as new projects come in
  • Calm and productive under pressure
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite with specific focus on graphics-related programs for online and print applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD).
  • Familiar with project/asset management and delivery tools including Workfront, Dropbox, and DAM systems.

Education And / Or Experience

  • 3-5 years of relatable experience
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Project Management, or related field preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excel skills imperative
  • Excellent partnership skills
  • Ability to be a part of a team, set challenging standards, develop strong partnerships, and lead others to action
