Position Summary

Analytical - Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures.

Strategic – Develops actionable insights from data to help grow the business and enable key stakeholders to make fact-based decisions.

Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with delicate topics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage holistic DTC reporting. Create & own dashboards summarizing retailer and Ecommerce key performance indicators.
  • Closely examine customer traffic, browsing and purchase behaviors; developing a deep understanding of the customer experience and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support Digital Cross-Channel Strategic Projects and enable cross-channel sell-through reporting by aligning metrics across Retail & own E-Commerce to build a holistic picture of online performance
  • Ensure analytics implementation provides visibility into the impact and value of new features and functionality as well as onsite marketing and merchandising initiatives.
  • Use tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, BigQuery, SQL, Tableau, etc.) and data to construct, maintain, distribute and enhance dashboards.
  • Provide ad hoc analyses to gain additional insights into customer behavior.
  • Facilitate cross-team analytical efforts to personalize the customer experience based on clickstream, demographic, interest-based and purchase data.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Statistics or a technical/quantitative field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Motivated self-starter, comfortable operating in a highly dynamic environment with little direction.
  • Ability to read and apply retail metrics with the right balance between analytical and commercial skills.
  • Ability to influence management team and peers, and able to implement new way of working.
  • 2+ years reporting/analysis experience at an online retailer, ecommerce setting, digital agency or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years implementing and working with multiple clickstream analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture/Site Catalyst/Adobe Analytics).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; data modeling experience a plus.

Education And / Or Experience

  • Understanding of web analytics code; experience working with developers to define requirements, implement code and validate data.
  • Experience writing and tuning SQL queries and knowledge of relational databases is a plus.
  • Experience with Tableau (or similar data visualization tools), A/B testing, SEO/SEM, digital marketing a plus.
