The Digital Copywriter role is responsible for creating copy with a mobile priority. Content will include interface copy, transactional e-mails, product collateral, tech stories, and regionally led products and product stories. The Digital Copywriter will partner closely with the Brand Copy team to assess, refine and evolve the content needs of programs already in flight. Role will fill the current copy creation gap for mobile and digitally supported copy.
- Create digital copy and communications with a mobile first approach.
- Assess, refine and evolve content needs of programs already in flight.
- Collaborate with UX designer and product developers on layouts, wireframes, and copy placement
- Create and conceptualize forward-thinking ideas and ways to express the UA brand digitally.
- Create and Manage the content calendar for Digital Copy initiatives.
- Create relevant documentation for content strategies and user flows.
- Oversee production of content with internal teams and external vendors.
Digital Copywriter role is responsible for owning the direction, process, and creation of mobile first copy. Role would manage the content copy calendar supporting all digital initiatives and partner with Brand Design teams to ensure accurate creation and regional coverage.
This role will partner with the Brand Copy team to help define and set digital copy requirements. The Digital Copywriter will also interface with cross functional partners such as, Brand Design, eCommerce Development, Connected Fitness, and UI/UX design.
Role will educate other teams and regions on digital copy requirements and process changes, as needed.
This role will primarily deal with situations reflecting shared interests.
- An ability to weigh in on design decisions with an understanding of strategic goals—a knack for making sure the work looks amazing and has content to match
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups
- Have worked agency side for major brands or experience with retail/e-commerce
- Support a test-and-learn environment by creating messaging that can be A/B tested for efficacy and impact
- Microsoft Office and Mac platform proficiency
- Samples of work submitted with your resume [Examples: Digital/print ads, implemented campaign, email marketing, direct mail, POP, online content/Ecommerce site reference (URLs)]—portfolio should showcase more than blog posts or social posts
