We're looking for people who never stop learning and are excited by that. This role will support Under Armour's Apparel Customization platform. As a senior software engineer on the UA Custom team, you'll work closely with teammates across UA Digital and UA E-Commerce.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING.
Other duties may be assigned.
- Execute full lifecycle software development
- Build and maintain UI applications and components
- Build and maintain supporting APIs and backend services.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Work alongside product partners to help scope and direct work
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and Modern JS (ES2015 and beyond)
- A keen understanding of UI / Interaction development patterns.
- Expertise with React or other component based UI development.
- Proficiency using source control including Git
- Experience with functional programming concepts
- Ability to work across different languages, and become familiar with new systems quickly.
- Experience building UIs with GraphQL
- Experience building APIs with GraphQL
- Experience profiling and recognizing common performance pitfalls both in frontend and backend systems
- Experience with relational data store technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- BS in CS or 5+ years of comparable experience
- Experience building Single Page Applications. (Including API integration)
- Familiarity with cutting-edge open source libraries and experience contributing to projects of personal interest a plus
