SUMMARY:

The Asia Pacific (APAC) Infrastructure Security Architect will design, develop, and deploy a comprehensive security plan for the Corporate infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific Region, to include Retail, Warehouse, Corporate offices, and eCommerce. The architect will identify and document the various infrastructure components and sensitive data repositories within the Enterprise. The architect will develop an infrastructure protection plan to include mitigations against infrastructure based attacks, such as DoS, DNS attacks, Malicious attachments, Malicious URL’s and general Spam, as well as monitoring and alerting for abnormal behavior patterns within the infrastructure and large data exfiltration. Further, the architect must be able to monitor, triage, mitigate, and document alerts generated by the infrastructure Security tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Network architect is responsible for protecting one of the biggest revenue source for UA. UA retail environments,
Data centers, and ERP environments are integral part of UA’s revenue stream and incidents on these platforms can negatively impact our financial outlook and damage the brand.
The Architect will be able to put in place security solutions that will help mitigate the risk imposed on these platforms necessitated by the need for accessibility and seamless integrations. 
Additionally, the architect will be responsible for safeguarding all regional teammate and consumer data.
  The architect is also required to be familiar enough with global cyber security to effectively triage and respond to incidents that may occur in other regions.
This person serves as the Security subject matter expert for any cyber security subjects of APAC.
In addition to a deep understanding of network skills, the architect should also be comfortable working with project teams on properly safeguarding intellectual property and personal identifiable information.

CRITICAL SKILLS 

Working knowledge of popular Network Security tools, SIEM and IR platforms.

Expert in Engineering and Architecture methodologies. 

Knowledge of cloud and container security.

 QUALIFICATIONS 

Worked as part of a large enterprise incident response team.
Operates effectively in an agile, dynamic, fast paced environment.

Can operate independently.
Proficient understanding of APAC security and privacy controls surrounding access to UA systems and proper safeguarding of data.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

Bachelors degree in computing related discipline or relevant work experience.
7+ Years infrastructure security experience. 
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Alibaba cloud is a plus.

COMPUTER SKILLS 

Industry Security Certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CEH, etc.) or relevant work experience
Proficient with commodity security tools and concepts (e.g., Splunk, Cisco, endpoint protection, two-factor authentication, etc.)
