Purpose of Role

The Professional, Global Labeling & Packaging (GL&P) role will contribute in the company’s efforts around required labeling, product packaging, and packaging optimization work for all divisions (Apparel, Accessories and Footwear). This Professional will be responsible for communication with our factories, working on costing, removing production road blocks, and supporting packaging and labeling development.

Your Impact

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to align packaging needs with business goals across all selling regions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in packaging processes
  • Ensure labeling compliance across all selling regions
  • T1 Vendor Management: maintain strong relationships with UA factories in all regions to deliver quality GL&P products and solutions to T1 vendors
  • Ensure clear communication re: GL&P with T1 vendor base across all divisions, ensure vendor queries are supported as needed
  • Partner with GL&P Teammates to support seasonal packaging developments on time while managing innovation, quality, and cost
  • Drive process improvement with T1 vendors and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in packaging development, with a proven track record in process improvement and supplier management; consumer goods background preferred
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for consumer products packaging
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving end-to-end ownership of packaging processes
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
