Purpose of Role

The Senior Manager, Sales Operations is responsible for driving U.S. Sales operational excellence through strategic process optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and the development of a high-performing Sales Operations organization. This role enhances Sales team productivity, ensures compliance and accuracy across tools and systems, and delivers consistent, customer-ready processes. With a big-picture mindset and strong change leadership, this role builds sustainable solutions, strengthens end-to-end operational flow, and positions Sales Operations as a strategic partner within the business.

Your Impact

•    Lead and evolve the Sales Operations function through efficient, scalable processes and clearly defined, accountable roles and responsibilities aligned with key business partners.

•    Develop and implement end-to-end operational workflows (OBM, product data flow, pricing, B2B, and seasonal tools) that improve sales productivity and ensure compliant, accurate data across systems.

•    Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, and SAP project teams to align on requirements, streamline information flow, and support system transitions.

•    Create actionable KPIs, reporting tools, and operational dashboards that provide visibility into performance, customer service, and compliance.

•    Build a centralized, user-friendly Wholesale knowledge hub and communication framework to enhance education, consistency, and accountability.

•    Lead the creation of a scalable Wholesale Onboarding Program and the Sales Playbook to support training, knowledge sharing, and sales readiness.

•    Manage process improvements for budget-sensitive areas (e.g., samples) by proposing cost-effective, auditable, and customer-aligned solutions.

•    Serve as a change leader—strengthening organizational understanding of end-to-end dependencies, encouraging ownership mindsets, and reinforcing a sales-centric, team-oriented culture.

•    Assess and enhance current state processes while delivering future-state recommendations that increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

•    Develop forward-looking operational strategies and long-term organizational design recommendations to build a sustainable, high-impact Sales Operations team.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience OR * Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience  OR * Typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree * Typically 3 - 5 years of management experience; or equivalent experience as the subject matter lead or expert in area of expertise. 

•    Significant experience in Sales Operations, Wholesale Operations, or related fields within consumer goods, retail, or similar industries.
•    Demonstrated success designing and implementing end-to-end operational processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.
•    Strong understanding of sales systems, data flows, and process governance; experience with SAP or ERP transitions strongly preferred.
•    Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate feedback into scalable, business-aligned solutions.
•    Skilled in setting KPIs, analyzing operational data, and using insights to drive decisions and improvements.
•    Strong leadership capabilities with experience developing teams, defining roles & responsibilities, and driving cultural and organizational change.
•    Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
•    Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including system migrations, process redesign, and cross-functional initiatives.

Base Compensation

 

 $134,927.60-$168,659.50 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
